Lazy morning
As the rains drizzled on, any thoughts I had about going out melted away speedily. The next best option was to make tea with ginger and sit at the window. The setting, perfect with Sunday newspaper and songs on YouTube. YouTube AI seems to understand my preferences reasonably well - but it slowly drags away from the theme! So after giving it a start with श्रावणात घन निळा ..it moved on to ओ सजना बरखा बहार छाई making me conflicted between looking out the window, reading Loksatta or watching Sadhana! The treat continued with
नैनो में बदरा छाए followed by a shift to
तेरे सुर और मेरे गीत transporting into another era altogether ...and now it has come to my all time favourite - दीवाना हूअा बादल. I paused this. After a long time we have the flute vendor on our street. I don't know how many flutes he sells but he entertains all of us with his songs. Has been doing for several years! Since the time before Kimaya was born ..so at least 11 years !
Today he is playing different songs apart from the Hero tune and others. A brief sample I could record of पंख होते तो उड् आती रे ..
The tea is over and the magic is fading, cleaning beckons.
